Online tuition:
Online lessons take place in our online classroom, using the interactive whiteboard. You can deliver your lessons from anywhere as long as you have a computer, lesson materials and a strong internet connection. However, we do expect our tutors to choose appropriate locations that are quiet so the online lesson will not be interrupted. The Whiteboard is best used on Chrome and features include a whiteboard, audio, video and file sharing.
In-person tuition:
You will only be visible to clients in the areas that you have selected in your ‘Coverage Section’. Most tutors will travel to their client, but feel free to suggest a local library or coffee shop if you and your student are happy with that arrangement. Travel costs are not covered separately by the client or Tutor House so be mindful of travel expenses when setting your hourly rate.
